Super Star Triok
The 9 minute + version of "Love for Sale" by this superb trio is worth the price of the entire CD. Each of these musicians achieves a superb sound on their respective instrument, exhibits a flawless technique and offers an unending stream of exciting, improvisation ideas. Enrico Pieranunzi has described Dado as an exponent of "visceral" Jazz and this recording is an excellent example of Pieranunzi's use of this term. If you like your Jazz played with emotion and energy, then you will love this group and this recording by three of the finest musicians on the Italian Jazz scene today. -Stefano Cerra
